Detroit Red Wings Trade Goalie Petr Mrazek to the Philadelphia Flyers

The Detroit Red Wings have agreed to trade goaltender Petr Mrazek to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for a conditional fourth-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft and a conditional third-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft. The Philadelphia Flyers will play without the services of their netminder Brian Elliott for five to six weeks. He is out with a core muscle injury and recovery from a subsequent surgery.
