So, ummm…this is something.

Remember back in March when news started circulating that David Ross’s book Teammate: My Journey in Baseball and a World Series for the Ages  was going to be made into a movie? Well, it now has a director (some Aussie filmmaker named Shane Abbess) and has apparently attracted the interest of Bill Murray.

That’s right, the Chicago Cubs super fan has “been in talks” to join the project. His role? Cubs skipper Joe Maddon.

“Are you serious?” Maddon told SI.com. “He’s much better looking than me. And second of all, it’s very flattering if that is true. He would totally dig on that, just the part of being on the baseball field as a manager.”

The film will focus on Game Seven of the 2016 World Series. There is no timetable for its production and/or subsequent release.
