The heat of the summer has hit the world of pro wrestling/sports entertainment with a tidal wave. TNA wrestling has named a new director of wrestling operation in the there Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. WWE had set up only four matches for 'Money In The Bank' later tonight but three more new matches have been added, and all three were mentioned in our two part preview.

So Thursday night on there latest Impact broadcast a member of the TNA board of directors came out to publicly "fire" MVP as the head of wrestling operations, and then later in the night name Kurt Angle, a member of TNA Hall of Fame, as it's new director. Things will certainly change for the better with Angle in charge. There was a small "Team Canada" reunion as Bobby Roode came out in support of Eric Young, who had lost the TNA World title to Bobby Lashley last week. In another storyline angle Samuel Shaw was "released" from the asylum he was located within into the custody of Gunner, who has been attempting to rehabilitate Shaw. Also, we reported a change to the TNA Women's Knockout Championship that actually has not aired on television as yet, but expect that Gail Kim will defeat Angelina Love soon enough for her fourth reign as champion. There may be more title changes afoot as TNA tapes events at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, especially as they returned to the use of the six-sided ring as well.

Meanwhile in WWE things were finalized as The Authorities' Triple H added the demon Kane to the other seven men to compete for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship at 'Money In The Bank.' As of now there are six healthy competitors who will also try to climb the ladder to get the golden briefcase and a contract to be cashed in any time within the next year towards a championship opportunity. Bad News Barrett is not likely to compete and a seventh name will very likely be added last minute as a surprise to the other six competitors. Lastly, WWE finally gave Vickie Guerrero a "proper" send off, by having Stephanie fire her, for her action adding Roman Reigns to the battle royal that he won to be part of the WWE World Championship match. She fended off the three divas sicked upon her, only to have Stephanie dump her in the pool of muck, but then Vickie did the same to the "billion dollar princess" leaving the arena to the sounds of her late husband Eddie Guerrero's entrance music. While that gratiating "excuse me" won't likely be missed, Vickie herself may certainly be.

As always if you do not have the WWE Network or choose to pay for 'Money In The Bank' on pay-per-view, we will utilize our facebook page for updates throughout the night as the card goes on. After 'Money In The Bank' WWE will give us a moved up on the calendar 'Battleground' on July 20th.
