So this past week in the world of sports entertainment/pro wrestling was supposed to reveal the fate of the WWE World Championship due to the surgery on champion Daniel Bryan's neck. That will now occur this Monday night on Raw as he has been ordered to surrender the championships. TNA continued to set-up matches for it's next pay-per-view 'Slammiversary.'

On Thursday night's Impact broadcast the current authority in TNA, MVP, was confronted by the TNA President Dixie Carter because of MVP's alliance with Bobby Lashley and Kenny King and his actions towards the TNA World Champion Eric Young. While she still wants to be back in control of her company it was MVP and his men who helped her do her dirty work by beating down Bully Ray who came down to ring side to go after Dixie. After Bully was down, Dixie's "nephew" Ethan Carter III put Bully Ray through a table. Now those two will have a match at 'Slammiversary' on June 15th. Last week a video aired that showed Gunner attempting to get through to Samuel Shaw to see if he can get the man in a straight jacket to act properly, which continued on Impact this week as well. Plus James Storm and Mr. Anderson competed in a drinking contest that Anderson had challenged Storm to, then proceeded to enact "revenge" on Storm after revealing he wasn't drunk. So basically all four of these men have switched opponents because TNA has no idea what else to do with them.

During Monday Night Raw in England, The Authorities' Stephanie McMahon came out stating she wanted WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan to surrender the championship to her next week since it was revealed he will be out for possibly three months after successful neck surgery. There was also a beat the clock challenge to determine a new number one contender for Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, as he will face Rob Van Dam now at 'Payback.' But the biggest story surrounded The Shield's continual battle with Evolution. Seth Rollins battled Batista and won by disqualification but The Shield were the ones who stood tall in the end. Even though all other members of both factions were "banned" from being at ring side, Triple H named himself the special guest announcer and Randy Orton as guest timekeeper during the contest. The Shield overcame those odds and will now battle Evolution in a "no holds barred' match at 'Payback' on June 1st.

Well those were the biggest stories around the sport of pro wrestling this past week, but what will the next week hold? Stay tuned here at WorldWreslting101 and we will let you know all that occurred in case you missed it.
