This past week in the world of sports entertainment/professional wrestling was a fairly normal week in both TNA and WWE. TNA continued there tour of Scotland with more Impact events in the United Kingdom and WWE continued towards 'Elimination Chamber.'

On Impact Wrestling this past week, Mr. Anderson closed the lid on his feud with Bully Ray by using his finishing move the "mic check" to drop Bully into the casket and put the lid on it to close the book on things between the two former members of "Aces and Eights." Also things between TNA President Dixie Carter and investor MVP ratcheted up several notches as Dixie offered to buyout MVP, but he refused and countered with a match at 'Lockdown' next month for total control of TNA. On this week's Impact Dixie will have to give MVP his answer to that. A title match between Gunner, who won the briefcase at "Feast of Fired", versus current TNA World Heavyweight Champion Magnus, will also occur Thursday night.

On Monday Night Raw the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton had one last battle with John Cena prior to the two being part of the six in the main event at 'Elimination Chamber.' Cena got the victory over Orton as did Antonio Cesaro on Friday Night Smackdown in his contest with the current champion. That makes Orton one and three versus his Chamber opponents with him battling Sheamus on this Monday's Raw. Two more matches were added to the Chamber pay-per-view card as number one contender Batista will battle his new foe Alberto Del Rio, who attacked him on Raw, and the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line as Big E Langston will defend against Jack Swagger. Swagger won a fatal four way on Smackdown to challenge for WWE's number two championship. Now it remains to be seen how WWE will round out the card this week, prior to the event next Sunday night.

Well that's about all for how the world of wrestling shaped up this past week. As WWE closes in on the debut of the highly anticipated WWE Network next Monday February 24th we will have more information on who/whom may appear on that night's Raw.
