It's that time of the month again with WWE presenting it's final pay-per-view of 2013: 'TLC' : Tables, Ladders and Chairs. So far only the main event match even has that stipulation attached to it, but for now we look at the under card matches.
While I do think this feud is a step back for Sandow in some ways I don't think it is a drastic one. It just seems sudden after he had just stated he was making ridding the WWE Universe of John Cena his sole mission. That being said I am expecting a fun confrontation between these two which will allow Sandow to show more of that intensity he has been displaying lately and Big E can display more of his very impressive agility and athleticism for a man his size. It seems too early for Big E to lose it yet though so Big E walks out of TLC still Intercontinental Champion.
I am actually quite torn on this one because Big E hasn't been champion for very long and seeing him hold it until say 'WrestleMania' would be a career boost for him, but somehow Sandow has to be "rewarded" for taking it to John Cena when he cashed in his MITB contract after 'Hell in a Cell.' New champion in Damien Sandow is crowned here.
AJ has seemed to be in an odd place for about the last month. She has been getting little to no offense in most of her matches or just losing. Maybe the shine is off of AJ backstage or maybe not but it does seem like her time as divas champ may be running out and It could be a fun way to begin filming of 'Total Divas' season 2 with Natalya winning the Divas Championship. Natalya finally gets the win over AJ Lee and begins the 'Total Divas' title reign.
Believe that with the 'Total Divas' season finale also on the same night that Natayla finally takes the Divas title away from AJ Lee, setting up a re-match at 'Royal Rumble' in January.
Both of these men seem to have taken a few steps down on the ladder but I am not ready to say they are in trouble or being overlooked. Pushes start and stop all the time and almost nobody receives a constant and continuous push unless they become a megastar. The fact is they are still on the card and that gives them a chance to steal the show. Should be a fun kick-off to TLC that I think Ziggler wins in typical showoff fashion.
Well how the "mighty" have fallen…both of these guys received pushes, Ziggler once cashing in the MITB contract for the World Heavyweight Championship and Fandango upon his "arrival" earlier this year before 'WrestleMania.' Now they are both "curtain jerkers" in the final pay-per-view of 2013. Expect Ziggler to steal this one.
More matches for the under card may yet be in the offing but have not as yet been announced by WWE. If so we will post our thoughts directly on our facebook page, so watch for them. Part two of our preview will be out tomorrow.
