TNA Wrestling presents there biggest pay-per-view event of the remainder of 2013 as 'Bound for Glory' emanates from the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California this Sunday October 20th. In this part one, of our two part preview, we will look at the under card matches. Part two will feature the three upper card matches tomorrow.
The Knockouts division is really hurting these days which is a shame because it was at one time THE women's division on national televised wrestling. With nothing else really standing out to me it just seems likely ODB retains the Knockout Championship.
Gee a triple threat for the Knockouts title that should have been Taryn Terrell's first championship win before she got pregnant, and with only about six active Knockouts on the roster, ODB retains here, but expect some interference from the newest K/O Lei'd Tapa
I am going to have to disagree with my colleague here. Not that it isn't entirely likely Angle could win this match but with Angle already getting the induction in the TNA Hall of Fame that weekend and holding one victory over Roode at BFG already it just doesn't seem like Angle will need the win. Bobby Roode gets his win back from 2 years ago against Angle at Bound for Glory.
Since Angle is returning from his rehab stint, it certainly seems that he should get the victory here, and likely will, sorry Roode.
There are still rumblings that Sting could be on his way out of TNA. With his future in TNA uncertain and Magnus beginning to rise in the eyes of the fans look for Magnus to get a big if not clean win in over Sting.
So unless Sting really wants to start the break up process for the new Main Event Mafia by beating Magnus this seems like exactly what Magnus wants, someone to put him over, and Sting will do just that.
Pre-Show Tag-Team Gauntlet Match: Kazarian & Christopher Daniels (Bad Influence) versus Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez versus Joseph Park & Eric Young versus Jessie Godderz & Robbie E (Bro-Mans)
I'm going with the team who has been consistently great this year whether it has been in the ring or on the mic, Bad Influence. I just don't see a point to the other teams other than being fodder for the current tag team champs.
This match seems like a set-up to crown new tag-team champions, after the winners face-off with Gunner and Storm…expect the unexpected as Joseph Park and Eric Young take this.
So there you go, our thoughts on the under card matches Sunday for TNA's 'Bound for Glory' pay-per-view. This event could wind up being very "make or break" for TNA Wrestling as the have cut back there ppv events and trimmed there talent roster quite a bit over the last few months as 2014 draws nearer.
