AMMO Fight League Owner: Bill Vigil
AMMO Fight League is one of the newer promotions in the New England region. The organization first began in combat sports hosting grappling tournaments. To this day, the organization still does. Many of the regions top talent cycled through AMMO, either grappling or in MMA. Fighters such as Mike Kimbel, Ali Zebian, Jon Manley, Vovka Clay, among others competed under the AMMO banner.
With the organizations 6th show set for March 15th, 2019, owner Bill Vigil spoke with MMASucka. Vigil discussed the origins of his mixed martial arts promotion as well as the beginning of his involvement with martial arts.
AMMO Fight League St. Patricks Blood Bath features the most professional fighters ever on an AMMO card. Among the names competing at the event, Connor Barry, Jon Manley, Will Smith, Dan Cormier, and Jeremie Holloway.
The main event features a high-level battle between a rising prospect and a veteran of the highest caliber. TUF Season 16 alumni, Jon Manley takes on prospect Jeremie Holloway. Both men look to elevate their statuses with a victory on March 15th. For Holloway, it potentially boosts him towards an opportunity on the Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series. In the case of Manley, this could serve as another step along a path back to the UFC.
