This morning Michael Lee of the Washington Post published a piece centered on last year's journey of Caron Butler and where he might go to next.

That was followed by a response/endorsement from current Wizards Free Agent, Marcin Gortat:

Butler had a successful season off the bench for the Oklahoma City Thunder, providing some good scoring for an uneven and at times anemic bench unit.
Butler was part of the key three-player core along with Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison that led to a short lived Wizards success before imploding in spectacular fashion.
Arenas has not played in the league in three years and Jamison was traded at the deadline to the Atlanta Hawks, who bought him out in February and we've heard radio silence since then from Jamison. He has however, been mentioned in a Migos track, so there's something going for him.
Would the front office be willing to take Butler back into the family? Or has the guns/finger guns era burnt all the bridges back to DC?
