Not only did he play exceptional but he lead the Redskins to a 40-32 victory over the heavily favored New Orleans Saints.

This week the Redskins face one of the doormats of the NFL for the past few years the St. Louis Rams. With their exceptional play last week this should point to an easy win for the Skins. However recent history would suggest otherwise.

One thing this franchise has done for the past seven to eight seasons is play up to favored opponents (New Orleans, New England, New York Giants to name a few) and down to their more lowly opponents, St. Louis being one of them.

In the last six seasons these two teams have faced off five times with the Redskins being 2-5 in those meetings and the majority of the time having the better team.

So just because the Redskins played extremely well against the Saints doesn't mean they'll do the same against the Rams. Of course there are many arguments for the Redskins going out there and burring the Rams and I'm pretty sure they will but as a fan I'm not overlooking this young team that has some weapons and a very good coach at the helm.

This team almost beat the Lions last week, a Lions team that many think will win the NFC North, so either the Lions aren't as good as they think or the Rams are better then anyone is giving them credit for.

I think the Redskins will once again be tested in a loud and hostile environment from a young and hungry team.

With that said I've got the Skins down as a winner here this week.

I think the defense will be all over Sam Bradford and force him to make some mistakes, much like they did to Drew Brees last week. I also think the Redskins held back some of the playbook last week (much like they did in the pre-season) since a lot of their plays were working so well. Look for a few new wrinkles from Robert Griffin III

I think the Rams will put up a fight early on but the Skins will be too much for them. The Skins win this one 31-13.
