Earlier today Horatio Blades might have made a fool out of himself on twitter, while taking a shot at the organization. Mike Shanahan has cut or traded a few Redskins faithful over the last two weeks, including; Phillip Daniels, Vonnie Holliday, and Andre Carter. It turns out H.B. Blades isn't a fan of those moves and feels that he could be next.
Initially, everyone mistook his message as, Blades got cut. That proved to be false, when Blades told beat reporter Grant Paulsen, that the "writing is on the wall," implying he could be cut in the near future. This won't bode well for his image and already, many have said that he should be quite and let the competition play out (said nicely).
Here is the message:
I have a problem with the content of the message as well. While understanding that football is a business, the lack of loyalty from Shanahan's side is disheartening to many, including me. Vonnie was our player rep throughout the lockout and Phillip Daniels could've had the biggest heart on the team.
It was sad to see those who truly bleed burgundy and gold leave. Good luck all former Redskins; you still have fans here in Washington.
