Capitals 101 was fortunate enough to attend Thursday's activities at Caps development camp. Among the many pictures and photos, we thought it was worth making a post for this video of Filip Forsberg.
During a drill in which two forwards attacked the zone against two defensemen, the Caps' first-round pick exploded past both defenders and beat Brandon Anderson with a nice forehand. (Seventh-round pick Jaynen Rissling is the right defenseman, but we're gonna need a little help on the other defender.)

This play showcased many of Forsberg's talents that earned him the 11th selection in the 2012 NHL Draft.
The center's smooth-skating abilities are shown as he comes into focus and bursts in-between both defensemen while keeping control of the puck. As Anderson attempts to poke-check Forsberg, he makes a quick backhand-to-forehand move and stuffs the puck into the left side of the net for a pretty finish.
There's a reason why he was the top-ranked European skater in the draft.
The video can be seen after the jump and it is best viewed using full-screen capabilities.
