The ballot for the 2014 NBA All Star Game has been released and among those listed are four Toronto Raptors. Guards DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, forward Rudy Gay, and Center Jonas Valanciunas have all made this year's ballot. The Raptors haven't had an all-star since Chris Bosh in 2010, but this may be the year someone gets back in the game. There is obviously tough competition in the Eastern Conference at each position so they will need our help to get them in.

Rudy Gay currently leads the Raptors with 20.6 points per game, 7.6 rebounds per game and 1.6 assists per game. He is shooting 38.2% from the floor, 40% from three point land and 79.6% from the line. Gay has been criticized due to his shooting percentage and lack of production based on his salary. Although he started off slow, he seems to have turned the corner and has been very efficient the last few games. Gay has recorded four double-doubles so far this season.

DeMar DeRozan is right behind Gay averaging 20.5 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game and 2.7 assists per game. He is shooting 40.4% from the floor, 35.1% from three point land and 81.7% from the line. DeRozan also struggled to find his shot earlier this season, but has since picked up his game. On Friday, DeRozan tied a career-high with 37 points on 13-22 shooting.

Both Gay and DeRozan are among the top 20 in points per game.

Point guard Kyle Lowry is averaging 12.4 points per game, 5.9 assists per game, and 3.8 rebounds per game. Along with his star teammates, he is also struggling to find this shot early. Lowry is shooting 38.6% from the floor, 35.5% from three point land, and only 66.7% from the free throw line. It is quite possible that Lowry's finger injury is bothering him as he has it wrapped for six weeks. Lowry ranks in the top 20 in the NBA in assists and three pointers made.

Lastly, there is center Jonas Valanciunas. Valanciunas is only in the second year but is slowly starting to become one of the better centers in the league. He is still a bit raw, but has made strong improvements and looks to possess the tools to be dominant a few years from now. Valanciunas is averaging 9.5 points per game, 7.7 rebounds per game, and 1.0 blocks per game. He is shooting 50% from the floor and 80% from the free throw line.

All of these players have a shot at making the 2014 NBA All Star team and they need your help. Vote for your Raptors by heading to allstarballot.nba.com

The 2014 NBA All Star Game will be played on Sunday, February 16 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Balloting ends January 20, 2014 so be sure to vote before then.
