The Tennessee Titans had a quick turn around this week, squaring off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in this weeks Thursday night game. While the Steelers will be without pro-bowl safety Troy Polamalu, the Titans certainly have their share of injuries as well.
Kenny Britt is once again listed as probable, but will likely see additional playing time as he has been practicing on the ankle all week. As the offense has continued to struggle scoring points, the Titans need a healthy Britt to help struggling quarterback Matt Hasselbeck in the passing game. Britt has just nine receptions for 83 yards in the three games he has played this season.
After playing this past Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, linebacker Colin McCarthy is listed as questionable with his tender ankle. He hasn't participated in practice all week, but he feels as though he will be good enough to take a shot at playing. The Titans, though, will wait until game-time to make a final decision on whether or not he will suit up.
Of course, Jake Locker is out again this week with his shoulder injury, and he will be reevaluated over the next week to determine the course of action for recovery.
Running back Javon Ringer will miss the next four weeks due to the MCL injury he suffered against the Vikings. Jamie Harper and Darius Reynaud should be splitting the time in the back-up role in Ringer's absence.
