The Tampa Bay Buccaneers place banged up cornerback Anthony Gaitor on the injured/designated to return list on Tuesday.

The second-year corner out of Florida International has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury for quite some time. He hasn't played since the preseason and suffered another setback after returning to practice on Monday.

Each team is allowed to place one player on the IR/designated to return list per season and the Bucs choose to use it on Gaitor, which means he is eligible to return to the active roster in six weeks.

Taking his place on the 53-man roster is linebacker Jacob Cutrera, who was promoted from the practice squad.

Cutrera, a former undrafted free agent, came to Tampa Bay last October from Jacksonville's practice squad. He had three special teams tackles and a forced fumble in eight games with the Bucs last season.

The Bucs also added two players to their practice squad: cornerback LeQuan Lewis and defensive end Aaron Morgan.
