Seattle Seahawks are known for having some of the most loyal and rabid fans in the National Football League. The fans, known as the 12th Man in Seattle, proved that even further earlier this week. The team announced on Friday that the Seahawks' training camp has been completely sold out.
The Seahawks sold 30,000 training camp tickets in just 45 minutes. The tickets went on sale on Thursday at 10 a.m. and by 10:45 a.m., they were gone. Seattle has sold out every home game since the 2003 season and there is currently a huge waiting list for season tickets.
The Seahawks opened up tickets to 12 training-camp practice sessions to the pubic, starting with the first practice of camp on July 25 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton, Wash. The defending Super Bowl champions open their preseason schedule on Aug. 7 in Denver against the Broncos, who they dominated in the Super Bowl. The Seahawks open the regular season at home against the Green Bay Packers Sept. 4 on Thursday Night Football.
