Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch definitely isn't afraid to be a little different. "Beast Mode" has made headlines both on and off the field. Lynch caused an uproar during Media Day at the Super Bowl when he gave a strange interview to Deion Sanders where he uttered the now-famous line, "I'm about that action, boss."
But Lynch won't have his hoodie and sunglasses to hide behind this time around. Lynch will be one of 22 athletes who will pose nude fo the sixth annual edition of ESPN The Magazine's The Body Issue. The magazine, which celebrates the athletic form, will be available on Friday, July 11.
"We somehow manage to raise the bar each year," ESPN The Magazine editor in chief Chad Millman told ESPN.com. "This year's collection of exceptional athletes and stunning photography showcases an array of sports and body types. It inhabits our mission to pay tribute to these athletes' bodies and all they are capable of."
Lynch was a huge factor for the Seahawks last season. He rushed for 1257 yards and 12 touchdowns and recorded three 100-yard games. He was voted to the Pro Bowl for the third straight year.
