So far we've broken down what the outfield will look like for the Seattle Mariners in 2012; Ichiro in right, Franklin Gutierrez in center, and either Casper Wells or Mike Carp in left which depends on whether Jesus Montero is catching of in the DH slot. Amidst the signings of Hong Chih Kuo and Shawn Camp, it was also reported that the Seattle Mariners 19 year old minor league catcher, Christian Carmichael tested positive for performance enhancing drugs. Seattle Mariners Fans Optimistic About 2012 Season

Many of the Seattle Mariners fan base showed up to Fan Fest to get a chance to listen to players talk, walk around the stadium, play around on the field, and get autographs from players. The general consensus from the fans was that they are "optimistic" about the 2012 season.
