Tonight's matchup features Matt Cain (1-4) taking on John Daniels (5-5). Cain faced the White Sox once in his career back on May 18, 2008, going seven innings and allowing six hits, six runs and four home runs in a 13-8 White Sox win. First pitch is scheduled for 5:10 pm.
Wednesday afternoon will be a battle between Tim Hudson (7-2) and Chris Sale (5-1). Hudson has a career 4-3 record against the White Sox with a 5.15 ERA and 35 strikeouts. First pitch is scheduled for 11:10 am.
The Giants are 2-4 all-time versus the White Sox and 2-1 at U.S. Cellular Field. The White Sox swept the Giants at AT&T Park back in May 2008 and will be back in San Francisco on Tuesday August 12th and Wednesday August 13th for another two-game series.
