San Francisco Giants Pitcher Signs with Japanese Team

Former San Francisco Giants pitcher Guillermo Moscoso has decided to take his talents to Japan this upcoming season.

The right-hander has agreed to sign with the Nippon Professional Baseball's Yokohama Bay Stars.

The Giants acquired the 30-year-old from the Chicago Cubs back in July. He went 2-2 in 2013 with a 5.10 ERA, allowing 20 hits, 17 runs, five home runs, 21 walks, 31 strikeouts and two saves in 13 games. He held the opposition to a .192 batting average.

For his career, Moscoso has a 13-14 overall record with a 4.28 ERA in 70 games, playing for four teams over five seasons.
