One thing that has been consistent for the 2013 San Francisco Giants has been Hunter Pence's name in the lineup throughout the whole season.
Pence is the only National League player to play in all 133 games and with 29 games left to go, look for this energizer bunny not to miss a start.
The righty is batting .278 this season, smacking 145 hits, 31 doubles, five triples, 16 home runs, 67 RBI's, 36 walks, 92 strikeouts, 19 stolen bases and scored 68 runs. He is producing .326 on-base percentage and .448 slugging percentage reaching a .774 OPS.
Pence has been effective since the All-Star break, batting .318 in 39 games with 47 hits and 19 RBI's. He is batting .301 against left-handers with 40 hits, six home runs and 23 RBI's. He has recorded 44 multi-hit games, six three-hit games and one five-hit game this season.
During the Giants 5-3 win Tuesday night in Colorado against the Rockies, Pence connected with the longest home run in the majors this season as the ball traveled 476 feet.
Defensively, he has committed seven errors in right field, producing a .978 fielding percentage.
Pence has missed just one game since putting on a Giants uniform and he will be a free agent after the season. The 30-year-old has expressed his desires to return to the Giants next season and hopefully this ironman will be wearing Halloween colors for years to come.
