Buster Posey Leads National League All-Star Voting

San Francisco Giants catcher and 2012 National League MVP Buster Posey leads the National League All-Star Voting after the first ballot's were released.

Posey received 1,275,956 votes, leading the NL and catchers. Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval ranks first at third receiving 1, 094,475 votes.

Giants first baseman Brandon Belt is second at first, garnering 513,371 votes behind Joey Votto of the Cincinnati Reds. Marco Scutaro comes in second, 801,754 votes at second behind Brandon Phillips of the Reds. Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford, 668,140 votes is second at shortstop trailing Troy Tulowitzki of the Colorado Rockies.

The 2013 American League and National League All-Star teams will be announced on Sunday, July 7, on the 2013 MLB All-Star Game Selection Show on TBS. The 84th All-Star Game takes place at Citi Field in New York on Tuesday, July 16 on FOX.
