One of the biggest stories to come out of the Pittsburgh Steelers OTAs was the return of center Maurkice Pouncey to the field. While these were non-contact drills, the fact he is healthy enough to take reps eight months after injuring his ACL is a positive sign for 2014.undrafted rookie free agent quarterback Brendon Kay from Cincinnati. A long shot to make the roster, Kay does have an interesting skill set and could be a developmental project.
An erratic passer, he does have some intriguing attributes including a 4.63 40-yard dash, and a 34 inch vertical. At 6-3, 226-pounds, Kay may have the athleticism to transition from quarterback to tight end or fullback. In fact, that type of transition may be his only chance to stick. Of course, he could also open up some eyes during his time as an extra training camp arm and earn a spot on the practice squad.
