Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown continues to pile up the recognition for his breakout campaign. On Monday, he added another honor to his resume when the Pro Football Writers of America named him to their All-AFC  team.

The four-year veteran exceeded all expectations in his first season without deep threat Mike Wallace, who signed a multi-million dollar free agent contract with the Miami Dolphins in 2013.  In the process, he put together one of the best seasons in the history of the organization, with 109 receptions for a record 1,499 yards receiving.

More importantly, he continued to add a spark to special teams and the return game, developing into one of the most feared players in the league when he had the ball in his hands. This was apparent when he was named to the Pro Bowl as both a wide receiver and return specialist.

This honor is the latest for Brown, who was also named Steelers' MVP for the second time in his career. That award is significant as it was bestowed on him by his teammates and not the writing community.
