On Tuesday, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin stood in front of the media and took full responsibility for his actions when he interfered with a Baltimore Ravens kickoff return. During that press conference, he also said he was willing to accept any and all fines. On Wednesday, he found out what that will cost.

As speculated early in the fallout stages of the Thanksgiving night incident, the NFL came down hard on Tomlin. On Wednesday, the league fined Tomlin $100,000 for play, and may still penalize the franchise for this action.

In fact, the NFL released a statement on the potential ramifications that the Steelers may face from the incident. That statement reads,

"because the conduct affected a play on the field, a modification or forfeiture of draft choices will be considered after the final order of the 2014 draft has been determined."

That move by the NFL will not make much of Steeler Nation happy as many fans already believe that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has an agenda against the organization. In fact, there is already cooler talk that the loss of a draft choice is inevitable regardless of the league statement. Only time will tell.
