With the kick-off between the Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1) and Cincinnati Bengals (0-1) on Monday Night Football inching closer, the inactive lists for both teams have been released. For the Steelers, there are not many surprises, as the team will again be down three potential starters. For the Bengals, the were able to welcome back a starting offensive lineman this week.Heath Miller (knee), running back Le’Veon Bell (foot) and cornerback Cortez Allen (ankle) are all inactive. At this point, there is no definitive timetable for their return.
Joining them on the sideline this week will be cornerback Cutis Brown (doubtful / illness), quarterback Landry Jones, kicker Shayne Graham, and guard Cody Wallace, The addition of Graham to this list means that kicker Shaun Suisham (hamsting) is ready to go and has had no setbacks. With Graham inactive, the Steelers are dressing three players that were inactive in Week 1, linebacker Vince Williams, nose tackle Hebron Fangupo and cornerback Antwon Blake.
For the Bengals, one of the most important cogs along their offensive line, left tackle Andrew Whitworth (questionable / knee) will be active and start against the Steelers. Durning their Week 1 loss to the Chicago Bears, Whitworth was replaced in the line-up by Anthony Collins. With Whitworth active the Bengals made running back Rex Burkhead, tight end Orson Charles, cornerback Brandon Ghee, offensive tackle Tanner Hawkinson, defensive end Margus Hunt, offensive guard Mike Pollak and wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher inactive.
