Pittsburgh Steelers Say Goodbye to Hall of Famer Mean Joe Greene

The Pittsburgh Steelers front office said goodbye to a legend on Monday when Hall of Fame defensive lineman Joe Greene stepped down from his position in the personnel department. The 66-year old Greene has spent the past nine seasons as a special assistant to general manager Kevin Colbert working in both the college and pro scouting arena.

One of the most iconic members of the famed Steel Curtain defense, "Mean Joe Greene" was a 1987 inductee to the NFL Hall of Fame. In all, he retired from the organization with six Super Bowl rings, four as a player and two working in the scouting department.
