Two Pittsburgh Steelers receiver word today that they were selected to the 2012 Pro Bowl. This marked the fewest Steelers selected to the game since 2000, when linebacker Jason Gildon was the lone representative.
Of course, for center Maurkice Pouncey and tight end Heath Miller, they will have differing emotions about the game. For Pouncey, who has only been in the NFL for three years, this will mark his third selection to the game and he is scheduled to start.Unfortunately, Miller will not be able to take part in his second selection to the game. The front runner for team MVP, saw his season come to an end today when the Steelers placed him on injured reserve after he suffered a torn ACL and MCL against the Cincinnati Bengals. He is scheduled to undergo surgery on his knee on Thursday.
