Two days after welcoming some new players and seeing a Pro Bowl player return to the practice field, history repeated itself for the Pittsburgh Steelers Friday. Safety Troy Polamalu, who has missed the majority of the season battling a calf injury, took part in team activities today.
While he was limited and will likely not suit up against the Cleveland Browns, it is a welcome sight for the Steelers who have been battling injuries almost all season. That was not the only good news of the day for the team as wide receiver Antonio Brown worked out again and is questionable for the game against the Browns. Yes, his participation has been limited, but like Polamalu, his return to health will be a boon for the team moving forward. As it appears that those two Pro Bowlers are closer to a return, the Steelers received some good news, as running back Isaac Redman (Concussion) has passed all tests and will be available against the Browns. Defensive end Ziggy Hood (Back), safety Will Allen, linebacker Stevenson Sylvester and guard Willie Colon are all probable and should suit up the for the divisional battle.
