Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post- Gazette is reporting that Steelers running back Jonathan Dwyer should see more carries Sunday against the New York Jets.

“I thought Jonathan Dwyer provided a spark play and represented himself well and will probably get an increased opportunity because of it,’’ Tomlin said.
This could all change based on the play of the named starting running back Isaac Redman. If his performance surpasses Dwyer’s then expect him to continue to get the bulk of the load.
Against the Broncos this past Sunday Dwyer had 43 yards on 9 attempts, while Redman only had 20 yards on 11 attempts. Neither man put up All-Pro numbers, but clearly Dwyer was more effective in the run game.
