Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick practiced Tuesday with the rest of the team. However, it still doesn't mean that he will be suiting up for game action on Sunday when the Eagles take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Vick left the Eagles' game against the New York Giants in the second quarter after he came up limping after a run. It could be seen that he was hurting, but he was able to stay in the game until the Eagles next series where he was taken out after one play. He was diagnosed with a pulled hamstring on Monday.
Vick warmed up with the team and was limited in practice. The Eagles have two more full practices this week and two walkthroughs before heading to Tampa. The only way Vick gets the start on Sunday is if he and the medical staff say he's 100 percent. The Eagles are better off sitting him for the game to give him the extra time to make sure he is healed and to ensure he doesn't aggravate his hamstring again.
it is still too early to tell, but it is very unlikely that Vick starts the game or even suits up for it. Nick Foles came in to the game on Sunday and put on a great performance to get the Eagles their second win of the season. Foles threw 16-25 for 197 yards and two touchdowns against the Giants. It looks like he will be the Eagles' starter on Sunday against the Buccaneers. When Foles started against the Buccaneers last season, the Eagles won the game.
