The last time the Philadelphia Eagles faced off against the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles not only lost the game to their division rival they also lost their starting quarterback. Michael Vick was injured in the game and suffered a concussion. On late Thursday night, Howard Eskin of FOX 29 reported that Vick's concussion symptoms were worsening, and he could potentially miss the rest of the season.
It is safe to say that this season has been a poor one for the Eagles. It started out well, at least the standings said so, as the team was 3-1. However, they didn't play well in any of those games. The poor play continued, and the losses began to follow. Naturally, the injuries are not beginning to kick in as the calendar has turned to December.
Rookie quarterback Nick Foles has been starting in place of Vick since the injury. Foles is currently throwing at a 60-percent completion rate in three games with about 550 yards passing, one touchdown, and three interceptions. The Eagles will play the Cowboys again on Sunday night on NBC's Football Night in America.Tags: Football, Michael Vick, NFL, Nick Foles, Philadelphia, Philadelphia Eagles
