There was a little bit of a stir before the 2011 NFL season began when the Philadelphia Eagles brought in a ton of talent from the free agent pool. The flurry of moves gave the Eagles a couple of nicknames such as the Dream Team, but the Dallas Cowboys' defensive coordinator Rob Ryan took exception to the moves and all of the praise Philadelphia was getting.

Ryan gave his comments on the team that he dubbed the "all-hype team" in early August.

“I don’t know if we win the all-hype team, I think that might have gone to somebody else, but we’re going to beat their ass when we play them,” Ryan said of the Eagles.

Rob Ryan's defense had no answer for the Eagles' highly-touted offense in Sunday night's game. LeSean McCoy rushed for 185 yards on 30 carries and Michael Vick contributed 279 yards through the air in addition to his 50 yards on the ground on seven rushing attempts. The Eagles looked like anything but the all-hype team in their 34-7 win over Dallas, and Ryan was forced to eat his words.

“It’s not the first time I’ve said something and gotten my butt kicked,” Ryan told the Dallas Morning News after the game. “I got out-coached, out-everything. It’s all on me.”

Philadelphia will face the Dallas Cowboys and Rob Ryan's defense again in Week 16 at Dallas, but until then, Rob Ryan has been silenced.
