Game Details:

Time: 7:00 PM EDT

Arena: Amway Center (Orlando, FL)

Broadcast: Sun Sports

Game Notes:

-The Orlando Magic are coming into this game off of a sluggish but necessary win over the Philadelphia 76ers. The win snapped a horrible 5 game losing streak for the Magic. The Magic will get a chance to exact revenge against one of those losses tonight against the Detroit Pistons in the friendly confines of the Amway Center.

-The Magic come into this game with a 33-23 record, which is good for 6th place in the Eastern Conference Standings. The Detroit Pistons are 21-35 and in 10th place in the Eastern Conference. They may be out of the playoffs, but the Pistons are not a team that the Magic should overlook. They are 2-0 against the Magic this season with both wins coming in Detroit.

-Stan Van Gundy said earlier that Dwight Howard will be out of this game tonight, but some positive news: Ryan Anderson and Quentin Richardson both participated in shoot around this morning and may play.

-Big Game Alert: I think Jameer Nelson will have to have one of those nights where he just carries the team to a victory. The Magic will be down their best player, but Nelson must show that he can handle the load tonight and lead the team to victory.

-Predictions: The Magic need to win this game tonight. They slugged out an ugly win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night. They need to build off of that game and beat the Detroit Pistons for the first time this season. It will be a tough task though with Dwight Howard on the sidelines.

Jason Crownover's pick: Magic 89 – Pistons 87

Randy Holbrook's pick: Pistons 103 – Magic 94
