Oakland Raiders fullback Marcel Reece continues to scream his name into the conversation of the best in the NFL at his position. The league announced Reece was named to his second consecutive Pro Bowl Friday.

He is one of the more versatile fullbacks in the NFL with his combination of size and speed. His greatest attribute is his pass catching ability, but whenever the Raiders are short running backs, they can count on Reece. He did it for four games last season and again this year. When both Rashad Jennings and Darren McFadden were out with injury, the Raiders asked Reece to carry the ground game. He responded with 19 carries for 123 yards and a 63 yard touchdown against the New York Jets.

During the 2013 season, Reece has accounted for 218 yards rushing and two scores as well as 31 receptions for 320 yards receiving and two more scores. The only knock on his game is he can disappear from the game plan. That is not on him because the coaching staff needs to make him a focus of the offense. That is not always the case, but Reece provides an added dimension to the offense.

Reece is the only Raiders representative in the Pro Bowl. The team will finish the season this Sunday against their bitter AFC West rival Denver Broncos, who are led by 13 time Pro Bowl selection Peyton Manning.
