The Oakland Raiders will travel to take on the Seattle Seahawks in their final preseason test. Despite being a typically light day for the first team offense and defense, the Raiders will play some of their contributors extended time.

The most noteworthy position will be quarterback, where Terrelle Pryor has a huge opportunity to take control of the starting quarterback spot with a solid performance. He is firmly in competition with Matt Flynn, who will sit out this game to rest some elbow soreness. Pryor provided a huge spark to the offense scoring 20 points in four possessions against the Chicago Bears last week. He will get his chance to play with the first team offense against some of Seattle's starting defense in a loud environment.

Along the offensive line, rookie second round pick Menelik Watson will see his first preseason action at left tackle, as a possible replacement for the injured Jared Veldheer. He has never played left tackle, but will see plenty of time to get acclimated against Seattle.

It would be a surprise to see any action from running back Darren McFadden as he heals a shoulder injury to get well for the regular season. Earlier in the week, the team placed rookie Latavius Murray on the injured reserve, ending his season. That leaves Jeremy Stewart and Rashad Jennings with extended work Thursday and the opportunity to show their worth.

On the defensive side of the ball, rookie first round pick DJ Hayden will see significant playing time in his second preseason game of the season. He is expected to play into the second quarter and beyond if necessary. Linebacker Kaluka Maiava has missed all of preseason with an ankle injury, but the team hopes he can suit up Thursday after practicing this week. Defensive tackle Pat Sims could also see the field for the first time this preseason. The entire defense will have a focus on the pass rush, which has been lacking in the past three games.
