The Oakland Raiders are back in Alameda today for their second organized team activity. It is the second straight week the Raiders are on the field after concluding the first session last Thursday.
Charles Woodson came back to the Raiders last week signing a one year deal. A broken collarbone ended his season a year ago after seven games. He said he was healthy after signing and is on the field today, putting on the silver and black for the first time since 2005.
During the first session a week ago, quarterback Matt Flynn was the starter at quarterback and he will continue to take the reps to prepare for the starting job. He will be backed up by Terrelle Pryor, Tyler Wilson and Matt McGloin.
The Raiders are transitioning to a multiple defensive scheme. That combined with all the new personnel on that side of the ball adds extra intrigue as the players go through drills. The linebacker position has been totally revamped this offseason and will begin to become more clear as the OTA sessions continue.
