Six-year NFL wide receiver and kick return specialist Cordarrelle Patterson signed a two-year, $10 million contract with the Chicago Bears. The deal keeps Patterson with the Bears until 2020 and will be the fourth team of his NFL career. Patterson, a two-time All-Pro, spent the 2018 season with the New England Patriots but has also played for the Oakland Raiders and Minnesota Vikings.

Patterson spent the 2018 season with the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. Playing in all 16 games, the speedy wide receiver recorded 21 receptions for 247 yards and three touchdowns. Additionally, Patterson spent some time at running back, recording 42 carries for 228 yards, one touchdown, and 5.4 yards-per-carry.

Patterson initially entered the league as a first-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Selected by the Minnesota Vikings, Patterson recorded 45 receptions for 469 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie. Additionally, Patterson returned two kicks for touchdowns while earning First-Team All-Pro honors.

In total, Patterson spent four years with the Minnesota Vikings. During his time there, the first-round pick recorded 132 receptions for 1,316 yards and seven touchdowns. Additionally, Patterson returned five kicks for touchdowns while earning First-Team All-Pro honors on two separate occasions.

Patterson joined the Oakland Raiders on a two-year contract prior to the start of the 2017 season. During his lone year in Oakland, Patterson recorded 31 receptions for 209 yards to go along with 121 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Patterson’s tenure in Oakland only lasted one season, as new head coach Jon Gruden dealt Patterson to the New England Patriots prior to the start of the 2018 season.

Throughout the course of his career, Patterson has recorded 184 receptions for 1,872 yards and 10 touchdowns. Additionally, Patterson has accumulated 682 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns on 86 career carries. Patterson also averages 30 yards per kickoff return and has returned six kicks for touchdowns throughout his career.
