New York Yankees infielder Brendan Ryan got the start at second base on Tuesday night versus the Detroit Tigers and didn't disappoint after making a fantastic grab that ended with him catching the ball with his bare hand.
The Tigers batter was J.D. Martinez, and the outfielder got some good wood on Hiroki Kuroda's pitch, but was quickly denied of a hit by Ryan's great play.

Ryan got the start over Stephen Drew, who was recently acquired to play second base for the Yankees. Ryan is known as a defensive specialist and he certainly showed why with that play.
