While the New York Yankees are in the middle of a four-game series with the Minnesota Twins up in the Twin Cities, Alex Rodriguez was in another place enjoying his time away from baseball.

Rodriguez was seen at the Mandalay Bay Center in Las Vegas on Saturday night and was next to Ultimate Fighting Championship President and promoter Dana White, as A-Rod was a guest of White's while watching UFC 175.

White was in control of ESPN's SportsCenter Twitter account during the event on Saturday night and posted the picture  with himself and A-Rod on ESPN's page just before the main event fight between Chris Weidman and Lyoto Machida; Weidman won the fight and retained his UFC Middleweight Championship.

Rodriguez is currently serving a 162-game suspension in 2014 due to the aftermath of the Biogenesis case in which he was accused of purchasing and using performance enhancement drugs; thus why he has some free time on his hands and is able to attend a UFC event during the middle of the Yankees regular season.

Rodriguez will be eligible to return to the Yankees for the 2015 season and it's been reported that A-Rod wants to return to the Yankees and the Yankees will have their third basemen back as long as he can still play baseball.
