Both of the teams currently in the 2014 Stanley Cup Final certainly have their supporters and fans rooting for the New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings. Two of which are famous for their respective cities and are legends in their sports.

Mariano Rivera, former New York Yankees closer and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, former Los Angeles Lakers center, were both seen today at Delta Airlines hanging out and wearing the teams they are cheering for in the Stanley Cup Final; Rivera sporting the Rangers jersey and Abdul-Jabbar wearing the Kings jersey. The NBA Hall-of-Famer posted the picture of the two on his Twitter account today.

Abdul-Jabbar then later posted a picture of Rivera alongside former Rangers center and captain Mark Messier, as they were playing some air hockey in their hangout. In the picture, you can see Rivera wearing a #42 jersey, which was his number with the Yankees.

Currently in the series, the Kings have a 2-0 lead and the series heads back to New York for a Game 3, which will be played on Monday night at Madison Square Garden. Both of the Kings wins in Games 1 and 2 were of the overtime variety; Game 2 was a double overtime win. The Rangers are looking to avoid being buried in an 0-3 hole by trying to get a win at home; the first time they've hosted a Stanley Cup Final game since 1994, when they last won the championship.
