Jacob Lindgren was the No. 55 overall pick in the 2014 MLB Draft and was the New York Yankees No. 1 selection when he was taken in the second round.

Lindgren was a failed starter turned reliever who was nearly unhittable during his time in the bullpen.

The 21-year-old was 6-1 with a 0.81 ERA and struck out 100 batters in 55.1 innings pitched. His incredible numbers make him a candidate to make an immediate impact in 2014 or early 2015.

Here's more information on Lindgren, courtesy of MLB.com:

Lindgren has three pitches his uses that are above-average at the major-league level, namely his slider which is considered to be his best pitch.
