The reach of Derek Jeter's career is global.

Even in St. Louis, where the New York Yankees are playing the Cardinals on Wednesday night, No. 2 is tearing fans apart.

Mark Feinsand of the New York Daily News brings us a photo of a young fan who seemingly can't make up his mind while sitting outside Busch Stadium:

It's understandable. Jeter is a great player and the Cardinals are a model baseball franchise. This young fan certainly knows his stuff when it comes to what teams and players are good to root for.

The Cards may be this kid's favorite team based on geography, but that isn't enough to overcome the respect even children have for Jeter. He's going to be heartbroken when he finds out The Captain isn't even playing on tonight.
