The Yanks looked dead in the dirt going into the ninth inning, but then somehow tacked three runs to the scoreboard with Brian McCann getting the game-tying single to knot it up at three.
Then came Ellsbury's blast to right field.
Ellsbury has been in a horrendous slump during the month of May, and the same can be said for McCann. Thankfully for New York, both of their big offseason investments came through in the end and propelled the team to victory.
David Robertson successfully bounced back from a blown save on Friday to close it out on Saturday.
