The New York Yankees will have to wait to get revenge for the opening night loss at the hands of Robinson Cano and the Seattle Mariners.

The team announced on Wednesday afternoon that the second game between the Yankees and Mariners at Yankee Stadium has been postponed due to rain. The makeup date for the game will be on Monday, June 2nd at 7:05 p.m.

David Phelps (0-0, 3.86 ERA) and Roenis Elias (1-2, 3.54 ERA) were scheduled to start for their teams, but with the rain out, they were both pushed to Thursday's finale, that is if they even play that game too.

Rain is also in the forecast for Thursday night and that game could also be postponed due to rain. Check with Yankees 101 for any updates regarding the weather and if they do in fact play Thursday's game in the Bronx.

With this being the only time the Mariners are set to make a trip to the Bronx, the two sides will have to figure out a time when they can make Wednesday night's game, plus potentially Thursday night's game, as well in the future.
