The New York Yankees bullpen is set to lose another reliable arm that has been with them for the last couple of seasons.

The Colorado Rockies are closing in on a multi-year deal with Yankees left-handed reliever Boone Logan, as Troy Renck of the Denver Post reported on late Thursday night.

"The Rockies are close to signing left-handed reliever Boone Logan to a multi-year contract, according to major league sources. No deal will be official until the pitcher undergoes a physical, but based on what setupmen have received this winter, Logan is in line for around a three-year, $15 million contract."

As Renck mentioned, Logan could net a three-year deal with Colorado worth around $15 million with the Rockies. Earlier in the the off-season, the Rockies landed another New York reliever as they signed Mets closer LaTroy Hawkins to take the reigns as their new closer in 2014.

In 2013, Logan had a 5-2 record with a 3.23 ERA in 61 appearances with 50 strikeouts in 39 innings for the Yankees and really was one of their most reliable arms over the last couple of seasons, especially due to the injuries of Damaso Marte and Pedro Feliciano.

Logan is the latest reliever from the Yankees to depart, as Mariano Rivera retired after 2013 and Joba Chamberlain signed a one-year deal with the Detroit Tigers.

Logan was first acquired by New York in December of 2009 from the Atlanta Braves in the deal that landed the Yankees Javier Vazquez and Logan in exchange for Melky Cabrera and prospects.
