The Los Angeles Angels have become the latest team to join in on the talks for Yankees Free Agent Hiroki Kuroda.  The Angels join the Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and Los Angeles Dodgers as possible destinations.

There has been no indications of the 37 year old right handers preference as free agency heats up in mid November.  The re-signing of Kuroda could be crucial for the dwindling Yankees starting rotation heading into the 2013 season.

Last season Kuroda posted stellar numbers and was an anchor in the starting rotation.  Kuroda pitched for the Dodgers from 2008 to 2011, so returning to LA could be a strong possibility if the Yankees aren't able to re-sign.  One finds it hard to believe the Veteran would venture to new territories, in Boston, given that a possible option is his return to professional Baseball in Japan.

The Yankees have already offered Hiroki a one year qualifying offer of $13.3 Million which he declined.  GM Brian Cashman will have to up his ante to keep Kuroda around for at least another year.

Kuroda showed no signs of old age, or weathering down the stretch last season, and with so many teams joining the conversation it is becoming critical for the Yankees to step up and make Kuroda an offer to keep him in pinstripes.
