After winning 4-1 behind Jacob deGrom last night, the New York Mets (63-72) snapped a two game losing streak. The Mets also continued their mastery of the Philadelphia Phillies (61-73) this season. The Mets have won 12 of their first 17 matchups this season, and can win this series tonight. First pitch for tonight's game at Citi Field is scheduled for 7:10 pm.

The Mets will send right hander Bartolo Colon (12-10, 3.82 ERA) to the mound. Colon picked up a win his last time out, allowing two runs in six innings against the Los Angeles Dodgers last Sunday. The Phillies will counter with Jerome Williams (4-5, 5.42 ERA), who has been outstanding since he joined the Phils a few weeks back. Williams picked up a win in his last outing, tossing eight innings of one run ball to beat the St. Louis Cardinals.
