Mets 101 Game Preview: Atlanta Braves at New York Mets

Dillon Gee finally picked up a win last night as the New York Mets (62-70) defeated the Atlanta Braves (68-64) 3-2. The Mets have now won two in a row and are looking to record their third consecutive win tonight. The Mets and Braves will continue their three game set tonight. First pitch at Citi Field is scheduled for 7:10 pm.

The game will feature a battle of talented young right handers. The Mets will send Zack Wheeler (9-8, 3.48 ERA) to the bump. Wheeler has recorded six straight victories. Wheeler picked up a win in his last outing, allowing two runs in 5.2 innings pitched to beat the Oakland A's last Wednesday. The Braves will counter with All Star right hander Julio Teheran (12-9, 2.96 ERA). Teheran also picked up a win in his last outing, tossing six shutout innings to beat the Cincinnati Reds last Thursday.
