- Freddie Freeman continues to lead the Braves offense with a .292 batting average with 17 homers and 68 RBI. Freeman has torched the Mets this year, batting .392 with one homer and 13 RBI in 13 games.
- David Wright will get Tuesday off to rest his various ailments. Wright had a 13 game hitting streak from August 2 to 14 but in the last eight games is hitting just .107 (3-for-28).
